BLOK ZİNCİR TEKNOLOJİSİNİN İLAÇ VE GIDA TEDARİK ZİNCİRİNDEKİ ROLÜ: KARŞILAŞTIRMALI BİR BİBLİYOMETRİK LİTERATÜR TARAMASI

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, blok zincir teknolojisinin ilaç ve gıda tedarik zincirindeki uygulamalarını karşılaştırmalı bir perspektiften incelemek amacıyla bibliyometrik bir analiz gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmanın temel amacı, her iki sektörde blok zincir teknolojisinin bilimsel literatürdeki temsiliyetini, araştırma eğilimlerini ve sektörel önceliklerini ortaya koymaktır. Bu doğrultuda, Scopus ve Web of Science (WOS) veri tabanlarında, blok zincir teknolojisiyle ilişkili olarak ilaç ve gıda sektörlerine yönelik belirlenen anahtar kelimeler kullanılarak sistematik bir tarama yapılmıştır. İlaç sektörü için Scopus’tan 436, WOS’tan 188; gıda sektörü için ise Scopus’tan 743, WOS’tan 423 yayın elde edilmiştir. Tarama sonuçları, tekrar eden yayınların çıkarılmasıyla ilaç sektörü için toplam 455; gıda sektörü için ise toplam 816 makale ile analiz edilmiştir. Analiz kapsamında, yıllara göre bilimsel üretim eğilimleri, atıf ilişkileri, ülkelerin bilimsel katkıları ve anahtar temalar değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonuçları, ilaç sektöründe blok zincir teknolojisinin daha çok sahte ilaçların önlenmesi, veri güvenliği ve tedarik zinciri bütünlüğüne odaklandığını, gıda sektöründe ise sürdürülebilirlik, gıda güvenliği ve izlenebilirlik gibi temaların öne çıktığını göstermiştir. Her iki sektörde de blok zincir teknolojisinin izlenebilirlik ve şeffaflık gibi ortak hedefleri desteklediği, ancak uygulama alanlarının sektörel gereksinimlere göre farklılık gösterdiği belirlenmiştir. Bu çalışma, blok zincir teknolojisinin sektörel dinamiklere uyum sağlamadaki rolünü ve bu iki sektördeki uygulamalarını anlamak için kapsamlı bir çerçeve sunmaktadır.

THE ROLE OF BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY IN THE PHARMACEUTICAL AND FOOD SUPPLY CHAIN: A COMPARATIVE BIOMETRIC LITERATURE REVIEW

Abstract

In this study, a bibliometric analysis was conducted to examine the applications of blockchain technology in the pharmaceutical and food supply chain from a comparative perspective. The main objective of the study is to reveal the representation of blockchain technology in scientific literature, research trends and sectoral priorities in both sectors. To this end, a systematic search was conducted in Scopus and Web of Science (WOS) databases using keywords identified for the pharmaceutical and food sectors in relation to blockchain technology. For the pharmaceutical sector, 436 publications were obtained from Scopus and 188 from WOS; for the food sector, 743 publications were obtained from Scopus and 423 from WOS. The search results were analyzed with a total of 455 articles for the pharmaceutical sector and 816 articles for the food sector by excluding duplicate publications. Within the scope of the analysis, scientific production trends by years, citation relationships, scientific contributions of countries and key themes were evaluated. The results of the study showed that in the pharmaceutical sector, blockchain technology focuses more on the prevention of counterfeit drugs, data security and supply chain integrity, while in the food sector, themes such as sustainability, food safety and traceability are prominent. In both sectors, blockchain technology supports common goals such as traceability and transparency, but its application areas differ according to sectoral requirements. This study provides a comprehensive framework for understanding the role of blockchain technology in adapting to sectoral dynamics and its applications in these two sectors.
