Factors Influencing Academic Achievement of Undergraduate Economics Students in Quantitative Courses

Abstract










This
paper investigates the academic performance of junior and senior students in
quantitative courses at Economics Department of Nigde Omer Halisdemir
University. To this end, regression and factor analyses are used. In addition,
the relationship between educational explanatory variables and GPA is
investigated.

Abstract

Bu
makalede Niğde Ömer Halisdemir Üniversitesi İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler
Fakültesi İktisat bölümü üst sınıf lisans öğrencilerinin sayısal derslerdeki başarısını
etkileyen faktörlerin neler olduğu araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla regresyon analizi
ve faktör analizi yöntemleri kullanılmıştır.
Ayrıca, eğitimsel açıklayıcı değişkenlerinin genel not ortalaması ile
ilişkisi incelenmiştir.
