In this study, relations between hay yield and some yield components of annual ryegrass (Lolium multiflorum Lam.) were tested by correlation analysis. The present study was caried out with the aim of determining the some agronomical traits of annual ryegrass varieties in the ecological conditions of Tokat between the years of 2018 and 2019. In this study, 11 annual ryegrass varieties (Barmultra II, Barspectra II, Bartigra, Baqueano, Caramba, Devis 2017, Pollanum, Trinova, Vallivert, Venüs, Vespolini 2016) were used. The experiment was arranged in randomized blocks design with three replications in the Bakışlı village of Tokat. Sowing was performed on 21 October 2018 with 20 cm row distance and 3 kg/da seed ratio for each variety by hand. The plants were harvested at the start of heading three times totaly. According to the results, statistical differences were found among the varieties for examined properties (main stem length, main stem thickness, number of knots, flag leaf size, flag leaf width, bedtime, green herb yield, dry herb yield. Based on correlation analysis there was a positive and significant relationship between green herb yield and dry herb yield, main stem length, main stem thickness, number of knots. Results showed that annual ryegrass can be grown successfully in the Tokat ecological conditions.
