Author guidelines
Text
Abstract
Short Turkish abstract between 200-250 words. There will be no references and no abbreviations in the abstract.


Keywords
Keywords should be written between 4-6 keywords.
Keywords can be used for indexing.

Text Formatting
Text must be sent in MS-Word word processing file format (doc or docx). Other file formats will not be accepted.
While preparing the text, the template in the submission files must be used (https://dergipark.org.tr/journal/1097/submission/start).

Titles
Headings should not be numbered.
No blank lines should be left after the title.
Only the first letters of the titles should be capitalized.
More than three levels of heading should not be used.
The first level heading should be bold only, the second level heading should be bold and italic , and the third level heading should only be italic.
Headings should be with the next text.

Abbreviations
Abbreviations should be defined at the first mention in the text. Abbreviations should not be used in the abstract.
Footnotes
Footnotes can be included in the text. There should be no bibliography in footnotes. Footnotes should be given on the first page, if possible. Footnotes should be numbered automatically by the word processor. Footnotes should be numbered as 1,2,3 .. (Arabic format). Footnotes should be preferred instead of endnotes.

Acknowledgments
The acknowledgment section to be written for the institution, organization or person who contributed to the preparation of the research should be written just before the bibliography. Abbreviations should not be used in names of persons, institutions or organizations.

Scientific Format
The units to be used in the text should be given in SI type.
If possible, generic names should be preferred to brand names. For example, "word processor" should be preferred instead of "MS-Word".
The decimal separator must be used in all text with a period (.) or comma (,). For example, when expressing the number of pi, it should be made as 3.14 or 3.14; or, for the level of significance: p <0.5 should be written. The zero before the point must be used.
References
All references should be given in APA 6 (http://www.apastyle.org/) format. Another bibliography notation should be used. Abbreviations should not be used in journal or book titles in the bibliography. DOI number should be added to the end of the references with this number.
Tables
All tables should be where they should be in the text.
All tables should be numbered with 1,2,3 ... (Arabic format).
For each table, the table title should be given above the table. The table title should be with the next text. To do this, right click on the header text, then click Keep with Paragraph / Line and Page Break / Next.
Titles should be left justified.
Table text should be in Book Antiqua type and 10 point size. If the tables do not fit on the page (as columns or rows), Book Antiqua can be edited in 9 point size.
The table should be left justified in the text. Table and column width should be adjusted automatically. To do this, click the right mouse button in the table, use the "Auto Fit / Auto Fit To Content" option in the menu that appears.
Footnotes in the table should be given with a superscript star (two stars for the second, three stars for the third ...) and should be located just below the table.
Figures
All figures should be left justified where they should be in the text.
All figures should be numbered 1,2,3 ... (Arabic format).
For each figure, the figure title should be given below the figüre, and it should be left justified.


Full Text in English
OMÜ-EFD publishes each article in full text in Turkish and full text in English for the December issue, including the works that are uploaded to the system. Accordingly, for the studies written by the author (s) whose native language is Turkish, after completing the referee evaluation process and receiving acceptance, a document (certificate) obtained from a certified editorial service company will be required to upload the full English text of the article to our journal's system.
If the study is written in English by the author (s) whose native language is Turkish, the article will be uploaded to our journal for the first time with a document (certificate) obtained from a certified editorial company, and after the article is accepted, the author (s) will be asked to upload a Turkish copy to the system.
Works written by the native English-speaking author (s) will also be required to upload the article to the system along with the document (certificate) received from a certified editorial company before the first application.
