The Using of the Qur’an as a Reference in the Hadith During the Time of the Abu Bakr

Abstract

The Qur’an has become the basic source in shaping and leading of the Muslim community since the beginning. This study analyzes the using of the Qur’an as a source in the hadith during the time of Caliph Abu Bakr. It also examines how the Qur’anic verses were used as an evidence for which events, from whom and for what aims. This study sets forth that the verses of the Qur’an in this period were used in the eliminating of ambiguities upon dying of the Prophet, in dis-cussing about the choosing of the first caliph, in waging war against some rebellions and apostasy, in encouragement and leading the first conquest move-ments, and in supporting their own views in some events even rarely.

Hz. Ebû Bekir Dönemi Olaylarında Kur’an’ın Referans Olarak Kullanılması

Abstract

Kur’an, başlangıcından itibaren İslâm toplumunu şekillendiren ve yönlendiren temel kaynaklardan biridir. Bu makalede İslâm tarihi kaynaklarına göre, Hz. Ebû Bekir’in hilafeti dönemindeki olaylarda Kur’an’ın referans olarak kullanıl-ması ele alınmakta; dönemin hangi olaylarında, kim tarafından ve nasıl referans alındığı incelenmektedir. Yapılan bu çalışmada, Kur’an’ın bu dönemde, Hz. Pey-gamber’in vefatı ile oluşan belirsizliğin giderilmesinde, ilk halifenin seçilme sürecinde çıkan tartışmalarda, irtidat ve isyan hareketlerine karşı mücadelelerde, ilk fetih hareketlerini teşvik ve yönlendirmede, çok yaygın olmamakla birlikte, görüşleri desteklemek amacıyla kaynak olarak kullanıldığı sonucuna varılmaktadır.
