Abstract
Hz. Osman döneminde meydana gelen Ermenistan ve Âzerbaycan seferi
esnasında ortaya çıkan kargaşadan sonra Huzeyfe b. el‐Yemân durumun
vehametini halifeye bildirdi. Bundan sonra Mushaflar çoğaltıldı ve farklı
beldelere gönderildi. Kaynakların genelindeki bilgilere göre Hz. Osman
zamanında çoğaltılan bu mushafların gönderildiği yerler şunlardır: 1. Medine,
2. Mekke, 3. Kûfe 4. Basra 5. Şam. Ayrıca bunun dışında Mısır, Yemen,
Kayravan, Kurtuba, Bahreyn, el‐Cezîre ve Humus’a da birer mushaf
gönderildiğine dair bilgiler zikredilmektedir.
Abstract
Huzeyfe bin el‐Yemân reported the gravity of the situation to the caliph
after the turmoil emerged during the Armenia and Azarbaijan military
expedition occured during the period of Uthman. After that the Mushafs were
copied and sent to different towns. According to the information in the
general, the places where the mushafs copied during the Period of Uthman
were sent were as follows; 1. Medinah, 2. Mecca, 3. Kûfe 4. Basra 5. Damascus.
Apart from this, it is stated that a copy of the mushafs was also sent to Egypt,
Yemen, Kairoun, Cordoba, Bahrain, al‐Jazirah and Homs.
