Abstract

The Survey of the Helmint in Samsun and Its Surroundings
At the Microbiology Laboratory of Ondokuzmayıs University Medical School, 7350 stool samples were examined in the period of 1978 - 1980 among them it was found that 1518 samples have various types of helminth (% 20.65). More often % 56.92 Ascaris Lumbricoides, less freqently % 0.32 Necator Americanus were found. Peripheral leucocyte formula was done on 304 samples which have helminth eosinophils was observed in 140 samples
