Abstract
Cholesterol, Depression and Suicide
Low serum cholesterol levels may be associated with depression and suicide. Studies have shown the relation between suicide, accidents and low serum cholesterol levels in general population.The link between cholesterol, serotonin,and suicide behaviour is interesting. In this article the relation between cholesterol, suicide, and depression was reviewed.
Düşük serum kolesterol düzeyleri, depresyon ve intihar ile birlikte olabilir. Çalışmalar genel popülasyonda düşük serum kolesterol düzeyleri ile intihar ve kazalar arasında bir ilişki olduğunu göstermiştir. Kolesterol, serotonin ve intihar davranışı arasındaki bağlantı ilginçtir. Bu makalede kolesterol, inühar ve depresyon arasındaki ilişki gözden geçirilmiştir
