The Positive Discourse Atmosphere and Discourse Analysis in Teaching of Math

Abstract

The type of general understanding about the owner of discourse, which occurs in people situating in discourse atmosphere, has the fundamental effect in forming a discourse atmosphere. While expressing the discourse; the means of communication techniques such as eye contact, body language and tone of voice are on the primary stage to create the positive discourse atmosphere as well as considering the differences of the students. By fulfilling this successfully, the students are conduced to feel self- confidence which is the secondary rule for creating a positive discourse atmosphere. Maintaining a healthy mathematical communication in a math lesson helps students to correlate the mathematical concept. One of the best discourse analysis which examines the teaching atmosphere like this is discourse analysis. It is apparent that the number of the analysis about positive discourse atmosphere and discourse analysis in math lesson is limited. In this study, some references were revealed by examining positive discourse atmosphere and discourse analysis in teaching math
