Abstract
Günümüz toplumsal hayatında özellikle çalışma saatlerinin kısalması ve de ekonomik imkânların daha fazla uygun olması, insanların boş zaman faaliyetlerine daha da değer vermesine ve kendileri için boş zaman faaliyetleri ortaya çıkarmasına neden olmuştur. Bu çalışmada son zamanlarda sıkça üzerinde durulan ve de aynı zamanda da da sosyolojik bir kurum olan boş zaman kavramı ekseninde, Osmanlı İmparatorluğu, Cumhuriyet dönemi ve günümüz dönemlerinde sohbet mekânları ve eğlence şekilleri üzerine genel bir değerlendirme yapılmıştır.
Abstract
The decrease in working hour rates and the availability of economic conditions in today’s social life caused individuals to give more importance to leisure time and to create new leisure time activities for them. In this study a general assessment was done on Ottoman Empire times, early republic era and today’s chat space and entertainment strategies in the axis of leisure time which is a sociological institution and is focused on lately.
