Authors are requested to transfer their copyrights to the journal of Ortadoğu Etudes before they are published. This period, the articles; It enables us to have the right to be evaluated, published, cited, reproduced, and presented to other readers. This is a situation we prefer to publish on an open-access basis. Copyright transfer of articles is valid only from the date the article is accepted for publication. If the articles are withdrawn or not accepted for publication, the transfer does not take effect.

The main features of our copyright policy are:

1. Authors transfer worldwide copyright of their work to OE for editing and publication.

2. Authors, as the author of the article, preserve all their material and moral rights,

3. OE commits authors to fully share rights for future use of their work. For example, self-archiving and republishing rights,

4. Open access articles in accordance with Creative Commons license; its authors, publishers, and all third parties will have the same rights,

The aforementioned copyright transfer procedures are in question for articles with a single author, it is sufficient for only one author (responsible author) to send the form for articles with multiple authors, and it is the responsibility of the responsible author to have the approval of all other authors.

6. With the Copyright Transfer Form, in addition to dealing with the copyright issues of the article, all authors; that the article is original, not published elsewhere, and in the content of the article; They also declare that there is no slander, fabrication or violation of rights. This declaration will bind all parties and OE is not responsible for any claims arising from it.
