Abstract
Bu bildiri, 8. yüzyılda Bizans ticaretini tanımlayan işaretleri öncelikle arkeolojik kanıtlara ve özellikle de seramiklere dayanarak belirlemeye çalışmaktadır. Genel kabul gören tablo, Akdeniz dünyası sisteminin M. S 700 civarında ya da bundan kısa bir süre önce parçalanmış bölgesel sistemlere ayrılmasıdır.
