Onuncu ve on birinci yüzyıllarda yaşamış Müslüman Türk ilim adamı olan İbn-i Sînâ dünya tıp tarihinde önemli bir yere sahiptir. Modern tıbbın temelleri de onun eserleri üzerine atılmıştır. İbn-i Sînâ’nın eserleri İslam dünyası ve Avrupa tıp tarihinde 11-17. yüzyıllar arasında çok etkili olmuştur. Avrupa’daki tıp alanındaki bilimsel gelişmeler ve tıp faaliyetleri İbn-i Sînâ'nın çalışmaları üzerinden hareket etmiştir. Yahut onun yoğun etkisi altında kalmıştır. En önemli eseri El-Kanun fi’t-Tıbb’da anatomiye ait birçok değerli bilgi bulunmaktadır.
Bu araştırmada İbn-i Sînâ'nın El-Kanun fi’t-Tıbb adlı eserinin anatomi bölümündeki kafa kemikleri incelenecektir. El-Kanun fi’t-Tıbb çevirisinde ise Osmanlı döneminde yapılan Tokadî Mustafa Efendi ile Cumhuriyet döneminde Esin Kahya’nın çalışmaları esas alınmıştır.

Avicenna, a Muslim Turkish scientist who lived in the tenth and eleventh centuries, has an important place in the world medical history. The foundations of modern medicine were laid on his works. Avicenna's works have a place in the history of medicine in the Islamic world and Europe between the 11th and 17th centuries. It has been very effective for centuries. Scientific developments and medical activities in the field of medicine in Europe were based on the works of Avicenna. Or it was under his intense influence. His most important work, The Canon of Medicine, contains a lot of valuable information about anatomy.
In this research, the cranial bones in the anatomy section of Avicenna's work titled The Canon of Medicine will be examined. In the translation of The Canon of Medicine, the works of Tokadî Mustafa Efendi in the Ottoman period and the works of Esin Kahya in the Republic period were taken as basis.
