36.000 Volt Elektrik Çarpması: Kompartman Sendromu ve Rabdomiyoliz

Year 2019, Volume: 41 Issue: 1, 87 - 90, 01.01.2019
https://doi.org/10.20515/otd.373642

Abstract

36.000 Volt Electric Shock: Compartman Syndrome and Rhabdomyolisis

Year 2019, Volume: 41 Issue: 1, 87 - 90, 01.01.2019

Abstract

High
voltage electric shock are the injuries that has a high risk of morbidity and
mortality. Most common complications are, deep burns, organ failure due to
compartment syndrome, renal failure due to rhabdomyolisis and multiple organ
failure. In this report we aim to present a case who was exposed 36.000 volt
electric shock and developed sudden rhabdomyolysis and compartment syndrome
that early diagnosed and treated with surgery and fast resuscitation.
