A ten-year-old girl was brought to our clinic with complaints of right ear pain for five days, inability to close her right eye for three days, and immobility at the corner of her mouth. On physical examination, a tick in the right external ear canal and grade 6 peripheral facial paralysis, according to House-Brackmann staging, were observed. The tick was removed alive and medical treatment was started. On the ninth day of follow-up, it was observed that his paralysis had completely resolved. In this article, a case of isolated peripheral facial paralysis due to a tick in the external auditory canal is presented with clinical findings, diagnosis and treatment process in the light of current literature.
