Hemşirelerin Bakım Verici Rollerinin ve Kanıta Dayalı Hemşireliğe Yönelik Tutumlarının İncelenmesi

Abstract

Amaç: Bu araştırmanın amacı hemşirelerin bakım verici rolleri ile kanıta dayalı hemşireliğe yönelik tutumlarının incelenmesidir.
Yöntem: Araştırma tanımlayıcı ve ilişki arayıcı türde yapıldı. Araştırmanın evrenini, Doğu Anadolu Bölgesinde bulunan bir hastanede en az bir yıldır çalışan hemşireler oluşturdu. Çalışmada örneklem seçme yöntemine gidilmeden, araştırmaya katılmayı kabul eden 316 hemşire ile araştırma tamamlandı. Araştırmanın verileri “Kişisel Bilgi Formu”, “Hemşirelerin Bakım Verici Rollerine İlişkin Tutum Ölçeği” (HBRTÖ) ve “Kanıta Dayalı Hemşireliğe Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği” kullanılarak toplandı. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde; sayı, ortalama, yüzdelik dağılımlar, standart sapma, tek yönlü varyans analizi, bağımsız gruplarda t testi ve pearson korelasyon analizleri kullanıldı.
Bulgular: Araştırma katılımcılarının Hemşirelerin Bakım Verici Rollerine İlişkin Tutum Ölçeği toplam puan ortalaması 59.23±14.51, Kanıta Dayalı Hemşireliğe Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği toplam puan ortalaması ise 52.53±11.37 bulundu. Hemşirelerin bakım verici rollerine ilişkin tutumları ile kanıta dayalı hemşireliğe yönelik tutumları puan ortalamaları arasında pozitif yönlü ve orta düzeyde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu belirlendi.
Sonuç: Hemşirelerin bakım verici rollerine ilişkin tutumlarının iyi düzeyde, kanıta dayalı hemşireliğe yönelik tutumlarının ise orta düzeyde olduğu belirlendi. Hemşirelerin bakım verici rolleri ve kanıta dayalı hemşireliğe yönelik tutumları ilişkili olduğundan bu alanlarda eğitimler düzenlenmesi önerilmektedir.

Investigation of Nurse's Attitudes Towards Caregiving Roles and Evidence-Based Nursing

Abstract

Objective: The aim of this study is to examine nurses' caregiver roles and attitudes towards evidence-based nursing.
Methods: This study was performed using a descriptive and correlational design. The research universe consisted of nurses working at a hospital in the Eastern Anatolia Region for at least one year. The study was completed with 316 nurses who agreed to participate without using the sampling method. Research data were collected using the "Personal Information Form", "Nurses' Attitudes Towards Caregiver Roles Scale" and "Evidence-Based Attitudes Towards Nursing. In evaluating the data, number, mean, percentile distributions, standard deviation, one-way anova, independent groups t test and Pearson correlation analyzes were used.
Results: It was found that the total mean score of Nurses' Attitudes Towards Caregiver Roles Scale of the participants was 59.23±14.51, and the mean total score of Evidence-Based Attitudes Towards Nursing was 52.53±11.37. It was determined that there was a statistically significant positive and moderate relationship between nurses' attitudes towards their caregiver roles and their mean scores for evidence-based nursing.
Conclusion: It was determined that the nurses' attitudes towards their caregiver roles were at a good level, while their attitudes towards evidence-based nursing were at a moderate level. Since the caregiver roles of nurses and their attitudes towards evidence-based nursing are related, it is recommended to organize trainings in these areas.
