The Effect of Tele-Nursing to Care Results After Discharged to Patient with Coronary Arter Bypass Graft

Abstract

Objective: The aim of this study was to determine the effect of monitoring of the patients who had undergone coronary artery bypass graft surgery on the results of care after discharge, to determine the learning needs, to determine and prevent the complications.
Material and Methods: This study was done quasi-experimentally on 60 patients who were hospitalized and discharged at the Cardiovascular Surgery Department of SANKO University Sani Konukoğlu Hospital Health Application and Research Center. The patient diagnosis form was completed before patient discharge. After discharge, the patients were contacted by telephone, and the Patient Requirements Determination Questionnaire which was prepared by the researcher, completed.
Results: An average of 41,25,4 minutes of conversation was achieved during the telephone follow-up of the patients. As a result of the interviews; 75% of the patients reported related about wound problems, 56,7% related pain problems and 41,7% had respiratory problems.
Conclusion: Telephone counseling was provided to patients who reported problems by the researcher. The patients were satisfied with the interviews. In conclusion, it was observed that the determination of patient requirements by telephone had positive effects on patient care results.

Koroner Arter Bypass Greft Ameliyatı Geçiren Hastaların Taburculuk Sonrası Telefon İle İzlenmesinin Bakım Sonuçlarına Etkisi

Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışma; koroner arter bypass greft ameliyatı geçiren hastaların taburculuk sonrası telefon ile izlenmesinin bakım sonuçlarına etkisini belirlemek, öğrenme gereksinimlerini belirlemek, komplikasyonları belirlemek ve önlemek amacıyla yapıldı.
Gereç ve Yöntem: Araştırma SANKO Üniversitesi Sani Konukoğlu Hastanesi Sağlık Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezi Kalp Damar Cerrahisi Servisi’nde yatan ve taburcu olan 60 hasta üzerinde yarı deneysel olarak yapıldı. Hastalara taburcu olmadan önce klinik rutinde verilen taburculuk eğitimi sırasında araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan Hasta Tanılama Formu dolduruldu. Taburculuk sonrası hastalar telefonla aranarak yine araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan Telefonla Hasta Gereksinimleri Saptanması Anketi dolduruldu.
Bulgular: Taburculuk sonrası hastaların telefonla izleminde 41,25,4 dk görüşme sağlandı. Görüşmeler sonucunda; hastaların %75’i yara yeriyle ilgili, %56,7’si ağrı ile ilgili, %41,7’si solunumla ilgili sorunları olduğunu bildirdi. Araştırmacı tarafından sorun bildiren hastalara telefonla danışmanlık yapıldı. Hastaların görüşmelerden memnun olduğu gözlemlendi.
Sonuç: Sonuç olarak telefonla hasta gereksinimlerinin saptanmasının hasta bakım sonuçlarına olumlu etkileri olduğu gözlemlendi.
