Alper Calam is a Full Professor at Gazi University, Ankara, Turkey. He received his MSc and PhD in 2011 and 2018 respectively at Gazi University. He has published many papers at various international journals. His research areas include SI and CI engines, low temperature combustion modes (PCCI, PPCI, HCCI, RCCI etc.), emission reduction, biofuels and fuel additives.
Editorial Board
Habib GÜRBÜZ is currently a professor at the Department of Automotive Engineering at Suleyman Demirel University. He graduated from the Mechanical Education Department of Gazi University in 2002. He received his Ph.D. degree from the Mechanical Engineering Department of Süleyman Demirel University in 2010. Gürbüz mainly studies internal combustion engines, alternative fuels and combustion, hydrogen energy, energy efficiency, waste heat recovery, phase exchange materials, PV/T panels, Fuel cells, Hydrogen Asist Jet Ignition, and intelligent transport systems, Coal combustion.
Ali Emin is an academic specialized in mechanical and automotive engineering. He received his B.Sc. degree from the University of Tabriz, his M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering – Vehicle Propulsion Systems from Sahand University of Technology, and his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering – Energy from Atatürk University. Between 2016 and 2019, he worked as a researcher on TÜBİTAK-funded projects at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Hacettepe University. Since 2021, he has been serving as a faculty member in the Department of Automotive Engineering at Atılım University, where he teaches courses on vehicle dynamics, internal combustion engines, fuels and combustion, and hybrid and electric vehicles. His research interests include hybrid and electric vehicles, battery modeling, energy systems, and automotive applications. He has also served as an external expert witness in many automotive cases for the Ankara Consumer Courts.
