In the article the foreign language teaching education program to primary schools will be presented by handling the methods of foreign language lessons in the primary schools. If we want to educate our children in the way that they should keep up with the developing scientific and technological novelties and they should compete with the children that are from different countries in every field, we should arrenge our education program according to the other countries' education programs we should prepare the next generation for the new age in the best way.

Abstract
Gelişim psikolojisi ve öğrenme ilkeleri açısından, yabancı dil öğretimine ilkokullarda başlanmasının yararları, yapılan pek çok ampirik ve betimlemeli çalışmalar sonucunda ortaya konmuştur. Bu çalışmalardan hareketle, Avrupa Birliğine üye ülkelerde üniversitelerin ilkokullara yabancı dil öğretmeni yetiştiren bllümleri açılmıştır. Sınıf öğretmenleri de haftada 5 saat yabancı dil dersini verebilecek şekilde yetiştirilmektedir, yan alanları yabancı dildir. Makalede, ilkokullarda yabancı dil dersinin yöntem ve metodları ele alınacak, ilkokullara yabancı dil öğretmeni yetiştirme programı sunulacaktır. Çocuklarımızı her alanda diğer ülkelerin çocukları ile yarışabilecek, hızla gelişen bilimsel ve teknolojik yeniliklere ayak uydurabilecek düzeyde yetiştirmek istiyorsak, eğitim programlarımızı diğer ülkelerin programları ile karşılaştırmalı, gelecek kuşağı en iyi şekilde önümüzdeki yüzyıla hazırlamalıyız.
