Bu araştırmada öğrencilerin temel benlik değerlendirmesi ile kariyer stresleri arasındaki ilişkide girişimcilik niyetinin aracılık etkisi incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemini bir vakıf üniversitesinde lisans eğitimine devam eden 290 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma verileri “Temel Benlik Değerlendirmesi Ölçeği”, “Kariyer Stresi Ölçeği” ve “Girişimcilik Niyeti Ölçeği” kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Toplanan veriler SPSS 20 programı ve PROCESS makrosundan faydalanılarak regresyon analizine (aracı etki analizi) tabi tutulmuştur. Analizler sonucunda öğrencilerin temel benlik değerlendirmesinin kariyer streslerini etkilediği; girişimcilik niyetine sahip olan öğrencilerin kariyer stresini daha az yaşadığı ve temel benlik değerlendirmesinin girişimcilik niyeti aracılığıyla kariyer stresini etkilediği tespit edilmiştir.
This study examined the mediating effect of entrepreneurial intention (EI) on the relationship between students’ core self-evaluation (CSE) and career stresses. The study sample consisted of 290 undergraduate students studying at a foundation university. Data were collected using the “Core Self-evaluations Scale,” “Career Stress Scale,” and “Entrepreneurial Intention Scale.” Further, a regression analysis (mediation effect analysis) was performed on the collected data using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences Version 20 Software and PROCESS macro. As a result of this analysis, it was deduced that students’ CSE affected their career stress and students with EI experienced less career stress, thereby proving that CSE influences career stress.
