An Anthology Of Modern Art Crıtıcısm On Turkısh Paıntıng Between 1940-60 Years
Abstract
World War II which has threw the whole world into a chaos have left the world in ruins. Removing the ruins/debris and reparation activities are results of the existential consciousness of mankind. Politic and economic downfall could also be seen as a counter response in art. Now the modern art or modernity is left behind. Something new, irregular new art movements must create their own rules. Instead of traditional academy style, every object is used as eclectic in painting. New art forms such as body art, performance art, collage, and abstract expressionism emerges in the conceptual art frame. Manifest of the modern art is not seen only in written documents or painting, now pop art is in daily life. While this is the situation in world, the existence of art is still a topic of discussion in our country. Turkish artists who are trying to find their place in the confusion of traditional art, guided art, and abstract art, and without learning the reason of the transition to the modern art in American and European countries, should determine their side.

Abstract
Bütün dünyayı kaosa sürükleyen II. Dünya Savaşı, her yönüyle dünyayı enkaz haline getirmiştir. Enkaz kaldırma ve onarım çabaları, insanoğlunun var olabilme bilincinden kaynaklanmaktadır. Siyasi ve ekonomik çöküş, sanatta da karşı tepkime olarak görülür. Artık modern sanat ya da modernite geride kalmıştır. Yeni bir şeyler, kuralsız yeni sanat akımları kendi kuralını yaratmalıdır. Geleneksel akademi stili yerine resimde her obje eklektik olarak kullanılır. Kavramsal sanat çerçevesi altında toplanan, vücut sanatı, performans sanatı, kolajlama, anlamsız görülen soyut dışavurum gibi yeni sanat biçimleri ortaya çıkar. Çağdaş sanat manifestosu sadece yazılı belgeler veya resimlerde görülmez, pop art artık hayatın içindedir. Dünyada hal böyle iken ülkemizde sanatın varlığı hala tartışma konusudur. Amerika ve Avrupa ülkelerinde çağdaş sanata geçiş sürecinin nedeni öğrenilmeden geleneksel sanat, güdümlü sanat, soyut sanat karmaşasında kendine yer bulmaya çalışan Türk sanatçısı tarafını belirlemek zorundadır.
