The Psychology of the Gezi Spirit

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how feeling of responsibility is providing a motivation for political participation, emotional state and mental health of protestors in social uprisings and what is the relation with their expressions accordingly psychoanalytic assessment. It refers to the role of charismatic leader in mass society that leads to schizo paranoid in regression analysis, takes attention into function of anonymous leadership in the history and proposes to handle that as an element of radical politics. It examines how immanent leadership affects the mental health of protestors, the form of organization in political space in the example of Gezi Park Protests and it tries to understand Gezi Park Spirit in political culture of 21th century.

Gezi Ruhu’nun Psikolojisi

Abstract

Bu çalışma; sorumluluk duygusunun siyasal katılım için nasıl bir motivasyon sağlayabileceğini, toplumsal hareketlerde protestocuların duygu durumları, ruh sağlıkları ve dışavurumları ile nasıl bir ilişkisi olabileceğin psikanalitik bir değerlendirme üzerinden incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Karizmatik lider rolünün kitle toplumunda yol açtığı şizoparanoid regresyon analizine değinilerek, anonim lider rolünün fonksiyonlarına tarihteki örnekleriyle dikkat çekilecek ve radikal siyasetin bir unsuru olarak ele alınması önerilecektir. Protestocuların ruh sağlığının, örgütlenme formunu ve siyasal olana içkin lider rolünü nasıl kurguladığını Gezi Parkı Protesto Eylemleri örnek olayı için incelemektedir ve Gezi Ruhu’nu 21. yüzyıl siyasal kültür iklimi içinde kavramaya çalışmaktadır.
