Abstract

Gebelik esnasında geçirilen bazı enfeksiyonlar abortusa, erken doğuma veya konjenital anomalilere neden olmaktadır. Akronim olarak TORCH şeklinde anılan bu enfeksiyonlar toksoplazma, rubella, sitomegalovirüs, herpes simpleks virüs ve diğerlerinden, sifilis, tüberküloz, listeria, kandida, parvovirus B19, varisella, HIV, hepatit B, koksiella burnetti oluşmaktadır. Biz burada bu enfeksiyonlardan biri olan tokoplazmozisi yenidoğanda hidrosefalinin nadir sebebi olarak sunduk

Congenital Toxoplasma Infection: A Rare Reason of Hydrocephalus

Abstract

A few infections called with an acronym as TORCH may cause abortion, premature birth or congenital anomalies if acquired during the pregnancy. ORCH, as an acronym, stands for toxoplasmosis, other syphilis, tuberculosis, listeria, candidiasis, parvovirus B19, varicella, HIV, hepatitis B, coxiella burnetii , rubellavirus, cytomegalovirus CMV , and herpes simplex virus HSV . Here, we present toxoplasma infection as a rare reason of neonatal hydrocephalus
