Çocuklarda Suçiçeği Enfeksiyonu ve Bağışıklama

Abstract

Variella Zoster Virüsu VZV , suçiçeği Suçiçeği ya da Chickenpox ve zona Herpes zoster ya da Shingles denen hastalığın etkenidir. Suçiçeği sıklıkla çocuklarda ateş ve jeneralize veziküler döküntü ile karakterize, hafif seyirli, çok bulaşıcı bir hastalıktır. VZV primer enfeksiyondan sonra arka sinir köklerine yerleşir. Zona dorsal ganglionlara yerleşen virusun reaktivasyonu sonucu gelişen sıklıkla yaşamın ilerleyen dönemlerinde, latent kaldı- ğı ganglionun inervasyonunu aldığı dermatom bölgesinde veziküler lezyonlarla ortaya çıkar 1,2 .
