Pediatride Hastane Kaynaklı Enfeksiyonlardan Korunma

Öz

Pediatri hastane pratiğinde hastane enfeksiyonları HE ve kontrolü önemli bir konudur. Her bir enfeksiyon için hastanede yatış süresini ortalama 10-15 gün arttırır ve böylece morbidite, mortalite ve yatış masraflarına önemli ölçüde etkisi olur. HE kontrol stratejileri, sağlık hizmeti veren herkesi etkiler. HE azaltmak için öncelikle sorunun boyutlarını belirlemek gerekir. Sürekli ve hedefe yönelik sürveyansın uygulanması mevcut HE sıklığı, özellikleri ve sorunu çözücü yaklaşımların belirlenmesini sağlar Tablo 1 ve 2 . izolasyon uygulamaları ve standart önlemler hastalar arası ve sağlık çalışanıyla hasta arasındaki enfeksiyonun yayılmasını önlemede en etkin yoldur. El yıkama veya susuz el yı- kama olarak tabir edilebilen alkol esaslı temizleyici ajanlarla el temizliği HE kontrol pratiğinde en önemli yoldur. Mümkün olduğu kadar risk faktörlerini azaltmak, antibiyotiklerin akılcı kullanımı, eğitim ve uygulanabilir kontrol programları, HE nin kontrol altında tutulmasına katkı sağlar. Bu yazıda HE korunması hakkında genel yaklaşım ve pediatrik hastalara yönelik daha ayrıntılı özelliklerden bahsedilecektir.
