Abstract

Ağrı, devam eden doku zedelenmesi ve inflamasyon nedeniyle oluşan biyolojik alarmdır. Daha ileri derecede hasarların önlenmesi veya sınırlandırılmasına hizmet etmektedir. Genellikle ağrı şiddeti doku zedelenmesinin yaygınlığı ve derecesi ile bağ- lantılıdır. Bununla birlikte her ağrının koruyucu anlamı yoktur. Hem hastalığın başlangıcında hem de sonraki aflamalarda akut ve kronik ağrı çeken önemli bir grup, onkoloji hastalarıdır
