Psychosocial Practices that Enhance Cognitive Activity in Dementia

Abstract

The daily lives of individuals with dementia, cognitive aspects need to be strengthened in order to maintain the quality. For this reason, dementia, cognitive, psycho-social applications there is a need to increase activity. Dementia drug treatment interventions used as an aid to increase cognitive activity. These interventions, behavior, emotion, perception and stimulation-oriented approaches can be classified into four groups. Dementia cognitive enhancer activity and an older group, this intervention and dissemination practices for selecting the most appropriate method to be applied. All psychosocial practices to increase cognitive activity psychiatrist, psychiatric nurse specialists, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists can with the condition to study the relevant therapy.

Demansta Bilişsel Aktiviteyi Artırıcı Psikososyal Uygulamalar

Abstract

Demanslı bireylerin günlük yaşamlarını daha kaliteli sürdürebilmeleri için bilişsel yönden güçlendirilmesi gerekmektedir. Bu nedenle demansta bilişsel aktiviteyi artırıcı psikososyal uygulamalara gereksinim vardır. Demansta bilişsel aktiviteyi artırıcı müdahaleler ilaçla tedaviye yardımcı olarak kullanılmaktadır. Bu müdahaleler; davranış, duygu, algı ve uyarım odaklı yaklaşımlar olarak dört grupta sınıflandırılabilir. Demansta bilişsel aktiviteyi artırıcı bu müdahale ve uygulamaların yaygınlaştırılması ve yaşlı grup için en uygun olan yöntem seçilerek uygulanması gerekmektedir. Bilişsel aktiviteyi artırıcı tüm psikososyal uygulamaları pskiyatrist, uzman psikiyatri hemşiresi, psikolog, sosyal hizmet uzmanları, uğraşı terapistleri tarafından ilgili terapinin eğitimini almak koşulu ile verebilir.
