Kariyer keşfi üzerine yayınların Vosviewer kullanılarak yapılan bibliyometrik analizi

Abstract

21. yüzyılda teknolojinin ve yapay zekâ uygulamalarının hızla yaygınlaşması, mesleklerin niteliğini, çeşitliliğini ve gerektirdiği yetkinlikleri önemli ölçüde dönüştürmesi, bireylerin kariyer planlama süreçlerini ve kariyerlerini nasıl keşfettiklerini yeniden düşünmelerini zorunlu kılmıştır. Son on yılda yaşanan bu dönüşüm, kariyer keşfi olgusunun hem uygulamada hem de akademik literatürde giderek daha görünür ve araştırmaya değer bir konu hâline gelmesine neden olmuştur. Bu bağlamda, mevcut çalışma kariyer keşfi araştırmalarının güncel eğilimlerini, eksikliklerini ve gelişim alanlarını belirlemek amacıyla ‘‘kariyer keşfi’’ kavramına makro düzeyde bir bakış sunmayı hedeflemektedir. Web of Science (WoS) veri tabanında 2015–2025 yılları arasında yayımlanan toplam 1.726 çalışma, VOSviewer bibliyometrik haritalama yazılımı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmaların çoğu Management (337) ve Business (131) alanlarında yapılmıştır. En üretken yazarlar Lent-Robert (1911), Hirschi Andreas (1756) ve Ute-Christine (1190) iken, en çok ortak alıntı yapılan yazarlar Lent-Robert (1802) ve Saviskas (728) olmuştur. Dergi atıf analizine göre en sık atıf alan dergiler Journal of Vocational Behaviour (10736 atıf), Career Development Quarterly (3727 atıf), Journal of Career Assessment (3522 atıf)’dır. En çok alıntı yapılan ülkeler ABD (19027 alıntı), Avustralya (4133 alıntı) ve İngiltere (3463 alıntı) olmuştur.

Bibliometric analysis of publications on career exploration using Vosviewer

Abstract

TThe rapid proliferation of technology and artificial intelligence applications in the 21st century has significantly transformed the nature, diversity, and required competencies of professions, making it imperative for individuals to rethink their career planning processes and how they explore their careers. This transformation over the last decade has led to career exploration becoming an increasingly visible and research-worthy topic in both practice and academic literature. In this context, the present study aims to provide a macro-level overview of the concept of "career exploration" in order to identify current trends, shortcomings, and areas for development in career exploration research. A total of 1,726 studies published in the Web of Science (WoS) database between 2015 and 2025 were analyzed using the VOSviewer bibliometric mapping software. Most of the studies were conducted in the fields of Management (337) and Business (131). The most prolific authors were Lent-Robert (1911), Hirschi Andreas (1756), and Ute-Christine (1190), while the most frequently cited authors were Lent-Robert (1802) and Saviskas (728). According to journal citation analysis, the most frequently cited journals were Journal of Vocational Behaviour (10736 citations), Career Development Quarterly (3727 citations), and Journal of Career Assessment (3522 citations). The most cited countries were the USA (19027 citations), Australia (4133 citations), and the UK (3463 citations).
