Bu çalışmada, suda çözünen ağaç boyaları ile renklendirilmiş bazı ağaç malzemelerde su bazlı verniklerin renk değiştirici etkisi araştırılmıştır. Bu maksatla, Doğu kayını (Fagus orientalis L.), sapsız meşe (Quercus petreaen L.) ve sarıçam (Pinus sylvestris L.) odunlarından TS 53 ve TS 2470 esaslarına uyularak hazırlanan örnekler, ASTM-E 1347-97’ ye göre anilin, hazır karışım ve kimyasal boya ile renklendirildikten sonra ASTM-D 3023 esaslarına göre tek ve iki bileşenli su bazlı vernikler ile kaplanmıştır. Renk değişimleri ASTM 2244’e göre belirlenmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, en fazla renk değişimi tek bileşenli vernik uygulanmış hazır karışım boyalı meşede, en az iki bileşenli vernik uygulanmış kimyasal boyalı kayında elde edilmiştir.
In this study the impact of color changing of waterbased varnishes on the different wood samples applied which were painted with waterborne wood coatings have been researched. For this purpose, test specimens were prepared with from beech (Fagus orientalis L.), oak (Quercus petreaen L.) and pine trees (Pinus sylvestris L.) according to TS 53-TS 2470 and colouration with aniline, ready-made mixture and chemical stain for coatings in respect of ASTM-E 1347-97 and than covered according to ASTM-D 3023 with waterbased varnishes. Discoloration performances were tested by using method of ASTM 2244. According to the results of the study, the highest colour changing was obtained from the oak which was varnished with one component and coated with ready made mixture stains, the lowest color changing was obtained from the beech which was varnished with two component and coated with chemical stains
