Abstract

Abstract

With the COVID-19 pandemic, which has become the most significant global problem in recent years, rapid and intense changes have occurred in social life, education, health, economy, financial and administrative order both in Turkey and the World. This situation that threatens human existence has changed the thoughts of today and the future. The number of cases and patients in need of intensive care treatment is decreasing; however, despite the effective methods, it continues. Compared to adults, it has been observed that COVID-19 is rarer and milder for children. Nonetheless, according to today's knowledge, treatment recommendations for children should be planned according to adult studies and the condition of the pediatric patient. In this review study, the situation regarding the pandemic period's possible effects on children is discussed with the literature.
