THE IMPACT OF POPULATION GROWTH AND EDUCATION ON KYRGYZSTAN ECONOMY

Abstract

In this article, the relations among economic development, population growth and education in Kyrgyzstan between the period of 1990 - 2016 have been analyzed by using VAR analysis. Econometric studies show that the number of the population and the students who received secondary general education has low effect on economy. On the other hand, the number of students having higher education level considerably affects country’s economy.

ВЛИЯНИЕ РОСТА ЧИСЛЕННОСТИ НАСЕЛЕНИЯ И УРОВНЯ ОБРАЗОВАНИЯ НА ЭКОНОМИКУ КЫРГЫЗСКОЙ РЕСПУБЛИКИ

Abstract

В данной статье проведено исследование влияния повышения численности населения и уровня образования на рост экономики в Кыргызской Республике. С помощью эконометрических методов проведен анализ, результаты которого показывают, что увеличение численности населения и выпускников, получивших образование в среднетехнических образовательных учреждениях, не оказывает значительного влияния на рост экономики. В то же время выпускники, получившие высшее образование, оказывают значительное влияние на рост экономики страны.
