Abstract

This study examines the serial mediating role of digital parenting awareness and child digital addiction in the relationship between mothers’ digital addiction and children’s psychological well-being. The sample consisted of 117 fourth-grade students and their mothers. Data were collected using four scales and analyzed with PROCESS Macro (Model 6). Findings showed that mothers’ digital addiction increased negative modeling and digital neglect, which elevated children’s digital addiction and reduced their psychological well-being. While the direct effect was not significant, two indirect pathways were. Results highlight the impact of digital parenting on child development and offer recommendations for preventive interventions.
