Bu araştırmanın amacı öğrencilerin temel yay teknikleri hakkındaki bilgi ve uygulama becerilerini incelemektir. Araştırmanın modeli nitel ve nicel araştırmaların bir arada kullanıldığı karma model niteliğindedir. Araştırmanın örneklemini Kırşehir Neşet Ertaş Güzel Sanatlar Lisesi Müzik Bölümü 11 ve 12. sınıfta öğrenim gören toplam 9 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama araçları olarak araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan “keman dersi öğrenci görüş belirtme formu” “bilgi kazanım testi” ve temel yay teknikleri uygulama becerilerini ölçmek için “performans gözlem formu” kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda öğrencilerin keman eğitiminin önemli bir boyutunu oluşturan temel yay tekniklerine ilişkin yeterince bilgi sahibi olmadıkları etüt, eser vb. parçalarda tanımadıkları yay tekniklerini doğru ve güzel olarak kullanamadıkları uygulamada eksikliklerinin olmasıyla birlikte yetersiz oldukları belirlenmiştir
The aim of this research is to examine the knowledge and application skills of the students on basic bow techniques. The model of the research is a mix model in which qualitative and quantitative research are used together. The sample of the research consists of 9 students from Kırşehir Neşet Ertaş Fine Arts High School Music Department 11th and 12th grade. As a means ofcollecting data in theresearch, "performance evaluation form" was used by the researchers and "performance observation form" was used to measure application skills of basic bow techniques. As a result of the research, it is concluded that the students do not have enough knowledge about the basic spring techniques which constitute an important dimension of violin education, it is determined that they are inadequate due to their lack of practice in which they can not use the bow techniques that they do not know in their parts correctly and beautifully

The journal is published twice a year, except for special issues.
Candidate articles submitted for publication in the journal can be written in Turkish and English. Articles submitted to the journal must not have been previously published in another journal or sent to another journal for publication.
