Savaş ve çatışma, tüm istenmeyen yönlerine ve topluma verdiği zararlara rağmen insanlığın tarihi kadar eskidir. Tarih boyunca kavimler birbiriyle çarpışmış, toplumlar çatışmayla kaynamış, savaşlar sürekli gündeme gelmiştir. İnsanlık bu gerilim ortamından büyük zarar görmüştür. Sanat ve sanatçılar her daim çağın tanığıdır. Büyük çatışmalar, şiddet olayları yaşanırken sanatın duyarsız kalması elbette beklenemez. Sanat eserlerinin savaşa ve çatışmaya tanıklığı, izdüşümü konusu hem sanat sosyolojisi hem de güvenlik sosyolojisi açısından bu çalışmanın konusu olacaktır. Sanatın mikro kozmosunda insanlığın şiddet hikâyelerinin nasıl temsil edildiği hususu sosyolojik kavramlarla irdelenecektir
Abstract War and conflict are as old as the history of humanity in spite of their all undesirable aspects and harms to society. Nations clashed to each other along with history, societies troubled with struggles, wars happened often. Humanity has been harmed very much from these tensions. Arts and artists are witnesses of the era always. Of course, art cannot remain careless while big conflicts, violence take place. Witnessing of art works to war and conflict, the issue of their projections are subject of this article both in terms of sociology of arts and sociology of security. How violent stories of humanity are represented in microcosmos of art will be analyzed with sociological concepts

The journal "Researcher: Social Sciences Studies" (RSSS), which started its publication life in 2013, continues its activities under the name of "Researcher" as of August 2020, under Ankara Bilim University.
It is an internationally indexed, nationally refereed, scientific and electronic journal that publishes original research articles aiming to contribute to the fields of Engineering and Science in 2021 and beyond.
The journal is published twice a year, except for special issues.
Candidate articles submitted for publication in the journal can be written in Turkish and English. Articles submitted to the journal must not have been previously published in another journal or sent to another journal for publication.
