Ethical Principles
Rodosto Art and Design Journal's publication ethics document outlines the ethical responsibilities of authors, editors, and reviewers in accordance with the guidelines and policies published by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Authors' Ethical Responsibilities
Authors who submit articles to Rodosto Art and Design Journal acknowledge that they have adhered to the following ethical responsibilities. Authors' ethical responsibilities were developed using the EASE Ethics Checklist for Authors. • The authors' articles must be their own original work.
• The articles submitted to Rodosto Art and Design Journal must not have been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.
• Authors must fully and accurately cite other studies and sources they utilize.
• Authors must be able to document that they hold the rights to use the data they use in the article and that they have obtained the consent of the participants in the research.
• If authors derived the article from a thesis or project, they must indicate this on the last page of the article.
• Authors must not interfere with the data they use by citing sources in the article and must interpret the data objectively.
• Any situations that may constitute a conflict of interest must be stated in the article, along with their reasons.
• Individuals who have not contributed to the article should not be listed as authors. All authors must be informed of their authorship. All researchers who contributed to the article must be listed as authors.
• Authors must notify the editor at any stage of the process if they discover an error in their work, and they must request a correction or retraction.
• Authors must: For all studies requiring data collection using quantitative or qualitative methods that require an ethics committee decision, the authors must state at the end of the article that they have received ethics committee approval and submit the ethics committee decision to the journal along with the article.

Editor's Ethical Responsibilities
The editor(s) responsible for all content of Rodosto Art and Design Journal acknowledge that they have adhered to the following ethical rules. These ethical responsibilities have been developed using the COPE Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors and the COPE Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors, published openly by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). • The editor should strive to continuously develop and improve the journal to meet the needs of authors and readers.
• The editor should implement processes to improve the quality of the content published in the journal.
• The editor should ensure that the content published in the journal complies with the journal's publishing policies.
• The editor should ensure that information regarding the journal's publication and editorial guidelines and peer-review processes is up-to-date and accessible.
• The editor should support authors' freedom of expression and protect their intellectual property rights.
• The editor is responsible for ensuring that the article complies with ethical principles, does not violate human or animal rights, and has received the necessary ethics committee approvals.
• The editor's criteria for accepting or rejecting an article should be its importance, originality, clarity, and relevance to the journal's interests.
• The editor is responsible for explaining to the author why an article rejected during the preliminary review process was rejected.
• The editor should ensure that appropriate reviewers are selected for the articles based on their knowledge and expertise and should take care to avoid potential conflicts of interest.
• The editor, responsible for implementing the double-blind peer-review process, is responsible for both The identities of both reviewers and authors must be kept confidential.
• The editor should strive to expand the reviewer database as much as possible by constantly updating the reviewer lists according to their areas of expertise.
• The editor should clearly state their expectations of reviewers and ensure that reviewers' evaluation forms are clear and understandable.
• The editor should ensure that reviewers' evaluations are timely, conducted in accordance with scientific and ethical principles, and impartially. They should remove reviewers from the database who fail to provide such evaluations.
• The editor is responsible for promptly informing authors of any changes requested to the article at the end of the preliminary or peer-review process and providing them with the necessary time for corrections.
• The editor should provide information from authors requesting information about the process in a manner that does not violate double-blind peer-reviewing.
• The editor and his/her assistant are ex officio members of the editorial board.
• The editor should select editorial board members based on their active contribution to the journal's development and hold regular meetings.
• The editor should consider the editorial board members' areas of expertise in their evaluations.
• The editor should consider criticisms of the journal's content and constructively approx.
