Price Policy

Authors who submit articles to Researches on Multidisciplinary Approaches (ROMA)/Multidisipliner Akademik Yaklaşım Araştırmaları (MAYA) (Romaya Journal) are charges after submitting an article in line with article 44 of the Inter-University Board (ÜAK) Ass. Prof. criteria.

Scope of Fees

To support the sustainability of editorial evaluation and publication workflows, Romaya Journal applies the following fees:

Editorial Processing Fee (USD 250)
Covers technical compliance checks, initial editorial screening, and coordination of the peer-review process.

Publication Fee (USD 750)
Covers post-acceptance production and dissemination processes, including typesetting/final proofing, online publication, and archiving.

Timing and Conditions of Charges

The Editorial Processing Fee (USD 250) is charged to initiate the evaluation workflow after submission is completed and is non-refundable regardless of the final editorial decision.

The Publication Fee (USD 750) is charged only after acceptance. No publication fee is charged for rejected manuscripts.

Discounts and Publication Fee Waivers

To encourage scholarly contribution and community service, the following waivers apply:

Editorial Board Members: Authors serving on the journal’s editorial board are eligible for one (1) publication-fee waiver every two (2) years.

Peer-Review Contribution Waiver: Authors who complete at least ten (10) peer reviews for Romaya Journal within the same calendar year are eligible for one (1) publication-fee waiver.

Transparency and Editorial Independence

Fees and waiver status do not influence editorial decisions. All editorial decisions are made independently of payment. When editorial board members submit manuscripts, editorial handling is managed in a conflict-free manner to ensure independence and impartiality.

**Researchers who will make payments from Türkiye may transfer the article processing charge (USD) in Turkish Lira (TRY), calculated according to the exchange rate applicable on the date of payment. Payments in Turkish Lira should be made to the journal’s designated TR IBAN account.

For payments in United States Dollars (USD), the journal’s SWIFT account information will be used.

After authors upload their manuscripts to the journal system, detailed payment instructions and account information will be sent via email. In order to prevent potential errors, authors are kindly requested to complete the payment only after receiving the official payment notification email from the journal.

Firstly, $250 is requested as an editorial processing fee. Please write your article ID number and the explanation note that is the editorial processing fee on the bank receipt.
