Romaya Journal

RoMAya Journal (Researches on Multidisciplinary Approaches – RoMA), published under the title Multidisciplinary Academic Approaches – MAya and registered with ISSN: 2791-9099, is an international, peer-reviewed, and open-access academic journal covering the fields of social sciences, humanities, natural and technical sciences, and health sciences.

The journal aims to publish studies that make a substantive and original contribution to the scholarly literature. Accordingly, the primary publication type of the journal is original research articles. Manuscripts that do not present original data, methods, or analyses are not considered for evaluation. However, exceptionally, comprehensive systematic literature reviews may be considered, provided that they are conducted for the first time in a given field, clearly define their methodology and search/selection strategies, and offer a rigorous, evidence-based synthesis that contributes meaningfully to scientific knowledge. In contrast, bibliometric studies, descriptive literature reviews, and similar works that do not generate original data or provide limited analytical contribution are not within the journal’s publication scope.

The disciplinary coverage of the journal is aligned with the fields specified in its ISSN registration. All submissions undergo an initial editorial screening by the relevant section editors, who assess manuscripts in terms of scope, methodological adequacy, and compliance with publication ethics. Manuscripts deemed suitable are then forwarded to a double-blind peer-review process. This structure ensures both interdisciplinary inclusiveness and discipline-specific rigor throughout the evaluation process.

RoMAya Journal is firmly committed to the principles of academic ethics, transparency, and publishing quality. The journal adopts an open-access publishing model, and all published content is made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. This license permits the sharing, distribution, and reuse of published materials, provided that appropriate attribution is given to the original authors.

The journal operates under a continuous publication model. Articles that have successfully completed the peer-review process and final layout (proofreading) stage are published online immediately, without waiting for a scheduled issue.
