This dissertation consists of an introduction, three sections and the result. Information about the method and some basic works used during the study is given in the introduction.

In the first section, the issues that Hadrat Aisha’s Mecca life, lineage, birth, acceptance of Islam, engagement with the Prophet and the Hijra generally have been addressed.

In the part of Hadrat Aisha’s life related to Medina are examined the issues that Prophet’s marriage with Hadrat Aisha, Hadrat Aisha’s house, Hadrat Aisha’s relationships with Prophet and his other wives, the battles that Hadrat Aisha attend and her role in this battles, the event of Ilâ and finally the death of the Prophet.

In the second section has been tried to be examined the general characteristics of Hadrat Aisha. It has been tried to express that Hadrat Aisha’s temperament, morality, devotion to worship, tesettur (veiling) sensitivity, virtues, generosity, livelihoods, attitude towards entertainment and humor and finally Hadrat Aisha’s knowledge and contribution to Islamic sciences.

In the third part of the thesis respectively was examined how Hadrat Abu Bakr, Omar, Osman, Ali, Hasan and Muawiyah took the lead and whether Hadrat Aisha has any effect in their management. Finally the issue of the death of Hadrat Aisha was examined.

In all of sections especially Hadrat Aisha’s marriage age, Efk Event, and the Battle of the Camel has been tried to be addressed very detailed and extensive way.

In the results section it was summarized that the results obtained from the thesis.

Bu tez giriş, üç bölüm ve sonuç kısımlarından oluşmuştur. Giriş bölümünde metod ve çalışmamız esnasında kullanılan bazı temel eserler hakkında bilgi verilmiştir.

Birinci bölümde genel olarak Hz. Âişe’nin Mekke hayatı, nesebi, doğumu, İslâm’ı kabul etmesi, Hz. Peygamber ile nişanı ve hicret konuları ele alınmıştır. Hz. Âişe’nin Medine hayatını konu edinen kısımda ise Hz. Âişe ile Hz. Peygamber’in evlilikleri, Hz. Âişe’nin evi, Hz. Âişe’nin Hz. Peygamber’le ve onun diğer eşleriyle ilişkileri, Hz. Âişe’nin katıldığı gazveler ve bu gazvelerdeki rolü, Îlâ Olayı ve son olarak da Hz. Peygamber’in vefatı konuları incelenmiştir.

İkinci bölümde Hz. Âişe’nin genel özellikleri incelenmeye gayret edilmiştir. Hz. Âişe’nin mizacı, ahlâkı, ibadetlere düşkünlüğü, tesettür hassasiyeti, faziletleri, cömertliği, geçim kaynakları, eğlence ve mizah konusundaki tutumu ve son olarak Hz. Âişe’nin ilmi ve İslâmî ilimlere katkısı aktarılmaya çalışılmıştır.

Tezin üçüncü bölümünde sırasıyla Hz. Ebû Bekir, Hz. Ömer, Hz. Osman, Hz. Ali, Hz. Hasan ve Muâviye’nin yönetime geliş şekilleri ve zikredilen bu dönemlerdeki yönetimlere Hz. Âişe’nin herhangi bir etkisi bulunup bulunmadığı incelenmiştir. Son olarak da Hz. Âişe’nin vefatı konusu ele alınmıştır.

Tüm bu bölümler içerisinde özellikle Hz. Âişe’nin evlilik yaşı, İfk Olayı ve Cemel Savaşı konuları çok ayrıntılı ve geniş bir şekilde ele alınmaya çalışılmıştır.

Sonuç kısmında ise tezin genelinden elde edilen sonuçlar toplu olarak özetlenmiştir.
