Recent Trends in Pharmacology

Recent Trends in Pharmacology is a scientific periodical in the field of pharmacology and medicine, which includes original articles, case reports and reviews. It aims to provide online free access to the pharmacology and medical community articles prepared by well-known scientists with a high h-index in the English language.

Recent Trends in Pharmacology publishes articles that provide a comprehensive overview of innovations in pharmacology, experimental and clinical therapeutics. High priority will be given to articles containing meta-analysis that critically examine potential new therapeutic targets or approaches. Manuscripts should combine studies on basic and cellular pharmacology as well as relevant clinical physiological aspects. The authors are expected to discuss data relevant to the clinical practice of the area under study.
Articles published in Recent Trends in Pharmacology are usually invited by the Editor after the recommendations of the Associate Editors have been considered. Other persons interested in writing Recent Trends in Pharmacology are encouraged to submit proposals to the Editor by submission system. 
Articles in Recent Trends in Pharmacology mainly deal with the current state of the subject under study. It should be written clearly and concisely and be understandable to non-experts, including definitions of unfamiliar technical terms and explanations of difficult or controversial points. At the same time, the review should be as precise and detailed as to grab the attention of experts in the field. Selective coverage is demanded rather than extensive literature. Reference should be made to previous reviews and articles of the topic and related fields. Authors are asked to critique methods, results, and conclusions, and to discuss accepted concepts as needed. Conflicting viewpoints should be presented with good objective perspective. Gaps in the field can be pointed out and ways for further work pointed out. Normal length ranges from about 3 to 10 printed pages. Diagrams, tables and drawings should be added to reveal new concepts and important relationships.

Journal Style Sheet
1. Please prepare the manuscript in English with a native speaker or certify your language editing.
2. Submit the manuscript in MS Word (for PCs) or RTF (for Macs)
3. Manuscript should have a Title (between 5 and 15 words), an Abstract (between 150 and 200 words) and Keywords (between 5 and 8 words)
4. For each author, give ORCID, email address, institutional affiliation, city, state (province), postal code, country . If there is no affiliation available then give the rest of the information mentioned above.
5. For multiple authored manuscripts identify the Corresponding Author by placing a * her/his name.
6. Submit all manuscripts to Dergipark system. In submisson, identify the classification that you would recommend for the manuscript
7. Submit, the manuscript content along with the title but not any author information seperately. This will facilitate blind refereeing.
8. Do not include a Table of Contents
9. Use Single space for spacing, Times New Roman 12 font and 1.5” margins all around
10. Use double column format
11. Insert page numbers bottom right.
12. Use subheadings such as Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, ...., Conclusion, References.
13. List all Tables consecutively. Each Table should have a number and a brief description placed above the Table.
14. List all Figures consecutively. Each Figure should have a number and a brief description placed below the Figure. All accepted manuscripts should submit a 600 dpi resolution Figures.
15. Use APA style for references. For web references give latest Access Date in dd/mm/yy format. All references should have an author or organization given first. See samples below.
16. List references in alphabetical order
17. Where applicable, the references should be cited in the body of text. See sample below.

Sample use of reference in the body of text:
It is clear from the review of literature that financial fraud is quite prevalent in a variety of industries (Rodriguez, 2011).

1. The Journal of Recent Trends in Pharmacology is published electronically 3 times a year (April, August and December) with the status of “Peer-Reviewed Journal” on the ULAKBİM DergiPark platform.
2. The journal, Recent Trends in Pharmacology, publishes original English studies in the field of pharmacology with an interdisciplinary approach.
3. The studies submitted to the journal are evaluated scientifically by the Board of Reviewers using the double-blind method, after the editorial process in terms of purpose, scope, method and writing principles.
4. Recent Trends in Pharmacology Journal adopts Open Access approach, articles, articles, etc. are published by the Journal. There is no submission fee, editorial processing fee or publication fee.
5. No fee is paid to the authors for the articles published in the journal.
6. Reported studies should be prepared in accordance with ethical rules and references made in the text should be specified. The upper limit of acceptable Turnitin similarity rate is 15%.
7. The opinions adopted in the published articles are not the opinions of the journal, they are the responsibility of each article author.

The ethical responsibilities below have been prepared in accordance with the ethical rules and responsibilities specified by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Editors, referees and authors of our journal are expected to act in accordance with the following ethical rules.
1. Ethical Responsibilities to Referees
The arbitration committee is reviewed at least once a year and updated regularly. The articles sent to the journal for publication are subjected to the editorial process in terms of purpose, scope, method and writing principles. At the end of the editorial process, the articles that can be published are sent to 2 different referees. In this context, the reviewers of Recent Trends in Pharmacology are expected to have the following ethical responsibilities:
• Evaluations should be impartial.
• Those who act as referees must be experts on the subject on which they express their opinions, and if they do not have sufficient information on the subject, they should reject the arbitration offer.
• Reviewers should not have a conflict of interest with the research or the authors.
• According to the confidentiality principle, the referees should destroy the studies they have reviewed after the evaluation process.
• Make the evaluation objectively only in relation to the content of the study. Nationality, gender, religious beliefs, political beliefs and commercial concerns should not be allowed to influence the evaluation.
• As a requirement of their responsibilities as educators and instructors, the referees should guide the authors, avoid offensive and humiliating comments and statements about the inadequacies of the author(s).
• They should perform the work they accept to evaluate on time and within the framework of the above ethical responsibilities.
2. Ethical Responsibilities to Authors
• Articles submitted for publication should not be contrary to scientific publication ethics (plagiarism, forgery, distortion, republishing, slicing, unfair authorship, not specifying the supporting organization, not complying with ethical rules in studies on animals, etc.).
• Authors must have conducted the research process of the studies they sent in accordance with ethical rules and relevant legislation. Articles must be original studies that are suitable for the specified fields of study.
• If the articles they send include research results that require an ethics committee decision, the ethics committee decision information (committee name, date, number, etc.) should be stated in the article.
• In case of direct quotation from other studies during the article research process, the author should be cited.
• The bibliography list must be complete and the cited sources must be specified.
2. 1. Relevance and Reliability
• The author should use appropriate data analysis methods when necessary and seek expert advice if necessary.
• In multi-author studies, authors should take joint responsibility for the content of their publications. Authors should check their publications at every stage to ensure that methods and findings are reported accurately.
2. 2. Integrity
• Articles submitted to the journal must not have been published elsewhere or sent for publication.
• The author should describe the research methods he used and present his findings clearly and unequivocally.
2. 3. Originality
• The author must undertake that the work is original and has not been published elsewhere in any language.
• If the research findings have been published before or have been sent to a different journal for publication elsewhere, the Editor should be informed about the subject during the article submission process. Authors should submit copies of relevant publications or copies of works submitted to other journals.
• Multiple publications originating from a single research project should be clearly identified and referenced to the primary publication.
