Author Guidelines

Thank you for choosing to submit your manuscript to Samsun Aviation and Aeronautical Research Journal. Authors are strongly advised to carefully review the Author Guidelines before submission. The instructions provided there will ensure that the evaluation process (including peer review and publication) proceeds smoothly. Please make sure that your manuscript has been prepared and submitted in accordance with the journal’s requirements. All submitted manuscripts will first be checked for compliance with the journal’s scope and formatting rules. Manuscripts that do not meet the required format will be returned to the authors for correction.

* Manuscripts can be written in either Turkish or English.

* Submitted articles must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.

* References must be formatted according to the APA 7 (American Psychological Association) citation style.

* If applicable, ethics committee approval and conflict of interest statements must be clearly declared in the manuscript.

Ethical Principles

Samsun Aviation and Aeronautical Research Journal (Samsun Av. & Aero. Res. J.) is an international, peer-reviewed, and open-access journal committed to maintaining high academic standards and scientific integrity. All submissions are evaluated in accordance with the principles of research and publication ethics.

The journal adheres to the following ethical principles:

Authors must avoid unethical behaviors such as plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, duplicate submission, and redundant publication. All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection software.

The peer review process is conducted under a double-blind review system. Reviewers are expected to evaluate submissions objectively and maintain confidentiality.

Editors are responsible for ensuring impartiality, confidentiality, avoiding conflicts of interest, and upholding scientific quality in all published content.

The ethical responsibility of the content belongs to the authors. Ethics committee approval must be obtained for relevant studies, and this must be clearly stated in the manuscript.

Publication Policy

The journal publishes original research articles, review papers, technical notes, and critical commentaries relevant to aviation and aeronautical sciences.

Submitted manuscripts must not have been previously published or be under consideration elsewhere.

Samsun Av. & Aero. Res. J. adopts an open-access policy. All articles are freely accessible to readers without any subscription or fee.

Upon acceptance, authors transfer the copyright of their work to the journal, while retaining the right to use it for academic purposes.
