The SARS-CoV-2 virus infection, which emerged in Wuhan, China at the end of 2019 became the COVID-19 Pandemic in a very short time. It has been affecting a lot of countries on the world for a long time with dramatic consequences and there is no end in sight. In this process, different problems with ethical dimensions are experienced especially in the fields of treatment, education and research in Health Sciences. The vast majority of these problems are in the field of public health and treatment, and they also cause significant disruptions in undergraduate and graduate education and research projects of related disciplines. On the other hand, in order to better combat the COVID-19 Pandemic and protect other patients, relevant planing are held in intensive care units, polyclinic services are reduced in hospitals, non-emergency surgeries are postponed or not performed. Although there are many scientific researches on the COVID-19 Pandemic in different scientific disciplines, studies on the ethical aspects of the issue are far from the practical demans and theoretical requirements.

Scientific and scolarly articles on the ethical aspects of the problems experienced in the fields of practice, education and research in Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, Veterinary and other Health Sciences will be published in the SABIAD SPECIAL ISSUE (SUPPLEMENT) on 'COVID-19 pandemic and Ethics' after the successful double-blind peer review process.
