Covıd-19 Tanısıyla Hastaneye Yatırılan Hastaların Laboratuvar Değerleri Ve Radyolojik Sonuçların Korelasyonu: İkinci Dalga İki Merkez Deneyimi

Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışmada iki farklı merkezdeki COVID-19 tanılı hastaların demografik, klinik, laboratuvar ve radyolojik özelliklerini belirlemeyi amaçladık.
Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışmamız iki merkezli, retrospektif bir çalışmadır. Çalışmaya 1 Eylül – 30 Kasım tarihlerinde hastanede yatırılarak tedavi edilen kesin COVID-19 tanısıyla izlenen SARS-CoV-2 gerçek zamanlı polimeraz zincir reaksiyon testi pozitif olarak sonuçlanan hastalar dahil edildi. Hastaların demografik, klinik, laboratuvar ve toraks bilgisayarlı tomografisi verileri retrospektif olarak değerlendirildi.
Bulgular: Çalışmamıza 157’si erkek 304 COVID-19 hastası dahil edildi. En sık görülen komorbid hastalıklar arasında %38,3 hipertansiyon, %36,3 diyabetes mellitus, %23,8 astım vardı. En sık görülen semptomlar öksürük (77,3), dispne (63,2) Miyalji (29,9) olarak bulundu. Akciğer tutulumlarının hafif-orta ve ağır tutulumlu pnömoni olarak değerlendirdiğimizde 83 hastada hafif pnömoni, 151 hastada orta pnömoni ve 69 hastada ağır tutulum olan pnömoni gözlenmiştir. Ağır Covid-19 pnömonisi olan hastalarının beyaz küre, nötrofil, aspartat aminotransferaz, laktat dehidrogenaz, ferritin, CRP, D-Dimer ve INR seviyeleri ile yatış sürelerinin istatistiksel olarak anlamlı şekilde yüksek olduğu, buna karşın lenfosit düzeylerinin ise anlamlı şekilde düşük olduğu belirlendi (p<0.05).
Sonuç: Ağır COVID-19 pnömonisi olan hastalarda laboratuar paremetreleri daha ağır seyrettiği, yoğun bakım yatışı ve hayatını kaybedenlerin oranlarının daha yüksek olduğu izlenmiştir. Aşılamayla birlikte etkisi kısmen azalan COVID-19 pandemisinde etkin ve güvenli ilaç çalışmalarına halen ihtiyaç vardır.

Correlatıon Of Laboratory Values And Radıologıcal Results Of Patıents Installed Wıth The Dıagnosıs Of Covıd-19: The Second Wave Two Centers Experıence

Abstract

Objective: In this study, we aimed to determine the demographic, clinical, laboratory and radiological characteristics of patients diagnosed with COVID-19 in two different centers.
Methods: Our study is a two-center, retrospective study. Patients with a positive SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR test who were followed up with a definitive diagnosis of COVID-19 who were hospitalized between September 1 and November 30 were included in the study. Demographic, clinical, laboratory and thoracic computed tomography data of the patients were evaluated retrospectively.
Results: A total of 304 COVID-19 patients, 157 of whom were male, were included in our study. Among the most common comorbid diseases were 38.3% hypertension, 36.3% diabetes mellitus, 23.8% asthma. The most common symptoms were cough (77.3), dyspnea (63.2) and myalgia (29.9). When we evaluated lung involvement as mild-moderate and severe pneumonia, mild pneumonia was observed in 83 patients, moderate pneumonia was observed in 151 patients, and pneumonia with severe involvement was observed in 69 patients. It was determined that white blood cell, neutrophil, aspartate aminotransferase, lactate dehydrogenase, ferritin, CRP, D-Dimer and INR levels and length of stay were statistically significantly higher in patients with severe Covid-19 pneumonia, whereas lymphocyte levels were significantly lower (p). <0.05).
Conclusions: It has been observed that laboratory parameters are more severe in patients with severe COVID-19 pneumonia, and the rates of intensive care admissions and deaths are higher. Efficient and safe drug studies are still needed in the COVID-19 pandemic, the effect of which is partially reduced with vaccination.
