Abstract

Ebû Mansûr al-Maturîdî is a very prominent place in Orthadox Islam. He
respondedto the people who raised many objections to the ortohodox
Islamic creed. Especiallyhe dealt with the questions ot the Muteziletes.
Although he is a wel-known theologian,he is also distinguished scholor
in Qur'anic exegesis. Ta'wîlat al-Qu'ran is his fomouswork on the
Qur'an. He used both the reports and reason in his exegesis and becomean
important example for later commentators. In this article we
concentrate on hismethodology in the intergretadion of the Qur'an.
