JOURNAL PUBLICATION PROCESS

The publication process applied by the journal consists of the following stages:

1. Editorial Board Review and Preliminary Evaluation

The Editorial Board convenes in the first week of each month to evaluate manuscripts submitted to the system during the previous month. At this stage, manuscripts are examined in terms of compliance with the journal’s author guidelines, adherence to academic publication ethics, originality, potential contribution to the international literature, and consistency with the journal’s publication policy.

Manuscripts that pass the Editorial Board review may also be subjected to an additional preliminary evaluation before the peer-review process. At this stage, submissions are assessed with regard to title–content coherence, the quality and representativeness of the abstract, the organization and overall integrity of the manuscript, its level of contribution to the literature, and the extent to which it cites relevant and up-to-date international scholarship.

Manuscripts that fail to meet the criteria at these two stages are returned directly to the author. During periods of high submission volume, a comparative evaluation may be conducted among manuscripts that meet the basic requirements, and those considered relatively weaker may be returned.

The Editorial Board review and preliminary evaluation process takes approximately two months on average.

2. Peer-Review Process, Language, Style, and ISNAD Review

For manuscripts that successfully pass the Editorial Board review and preliminary evaluation, a double-blind peer-review process is initiated. Manuscripts accepted either directly or after revisions by the reviewers proceed to the next stage. Rejected manuscripts are returned to the author.

Manuscripts that successfully complete the peer-review process undergo language and stylistic editing, as well as a review of compliance with the ISNAD citation system. Submissions that complete this stage are then taken into the layout process and prepared for publication.

The peer-review, language and style editing, and ISNAD review processes may take approximately two months, depending on the nature of the manuscript and the availability of reviewers.
