Abstract
The regulation of Hajj journeys as well as the actual performance of Hajjrituals in the Holy lands has been an important issue throughout history.Given the huge increase in the number of pilgrims today it has become amore crucial issue to concentrate on the issue of Hajj organization. In thisarticle, I will first present the classical views of fuqaha on the leadership ofHajj organization through exploring the views of certain Medieval Muslimjurists. Then, in the end, I will try to make some observations andsuggestions concerning the implications of these views for the presentsituation.
