Nabatî Toplumunda Kadın

Year 2024, Issue: Cahiliye Özel Sayısı, 214 - 226, 15.12.2024

Abstract

Bu makale, antik Nabatî toplumundaki kadınların bilhassa siyasî, hukukî ve sosyal alandaki rollerini, bazı epigrafik ve arkeolojik delillere atıfta bulunarak incelemektedir. Nabatî toplumuna dair malumatın çoğu, Greko-Romen kültürüne ait yazılı kaynaklara dayanır ve bunlar her zaman tarafsız değildi. Zira epigrafik ve arkeolojik kaynaklar bize, Nabatî kadınların siyasette, ayin faaliyetlerinde, sosyal hayattaki yerlerini, kıyafetlerini ve mücevheratını ve onların mülkiyet haklarını daha iyi anlamamıza imkân sağlayan yeni bilgiler sunmaktadır.
