A LITERATURE REVIEW ON JOB SATISFACTION OF HEALTH SECTOR EMPLOYEE

Abstract

Job satisfaction is an important concept in the success of institutions. Individuals spend a significant part of their lives working in the workplace. Especially in health institutions operating as a service sector, job satisfaction comes to the fore even more. Employees are satisfied with their institutions as a result of perceiving the working environment favorably and meeting their financial expectations. In this context, job satisfaction is an important factor for working individuals to enjoy their job. Thus, the attitudes and feelings of working individuals are shaped by the perspectives of the organization they work for. Employees' positive feelings towards their jobs cause high job satisfaction, while employees with negative attitudes have low job satisfaction. In this direction, ensuring the job satisfaction of the employees of the health institution directly causes the institution to be effective and productive. As a result of the high level of job satisfaction provided in the institution, the commitment of the working individuals to the institution increases, and also the organizational performance increases in a positive way.

SAĞLIK SEKTÖRÜ ÇALIŞANLARININ İŞ TATMİNLERİNE YÖNELİK LİTERATÜR İNCELEMESİ

Abstract

Kurumların başarısında iş tatmini önemli bir kavramdır. Bireyler yaşamlarının önemli bir kısmını işyerinde çalışarak geçirmektedir. Özellikle hizmet sektörü olarak faaliyet gösteren sağlık kurumlarında iş tatmini daha da ön plana çıkmaktadır. Çalışan bireyler, çalışma ortamını elverişli biçimde algılaması ve maddi olarak beklentilerine cevap verilmesi sonucunda kurumlarından memnun kalmaktadır. Bu bağlamda iş tatmini çalışan bireylerin işini severek faaliyet göstermesinde önemli bir faktördür. Böylelikle çalışan bireylerin sahip oldukları tutum ve hisler çalıştığı organizasyondaki bakış açılarıyla şekillenmektedir. Çalışanların işlerine olumlu duygular beslemesi yüksek iş tatminine neden olurken, olumsuz tutum içinde olan çalışanlar ise düşük iş tatminine sahip olmaktadır. Bu doğrultuda, sağlık kurumu çalışanlarının iş tatmininin sağlanması doğrudan kurumun etkin ve verimli olabilmesine neden olmaktadır. Kurumda sağlanan yüksek seviyedeki iş tatmini sonucunda, çalışan bireylerin kuruma bağlılıkları artmakta ve örgütsel performans olumlu bir biçimde artış göstermektedir. Bu noktadan hareketle, iş tatmini çalışan bireylerin refah seviyesini önemli ölçüde etkileyerek yaşam memnuniyetini arttırmaktadır.
