Sayıştay Uzman Denetçisi 1 1977 yılında kurulan ve merkezi New York’ta bulunan IFAC International Federation of Accountants – Uluslararası Muhasebeciler Federasyonu , 122 ülkeden denetim ve muhasebe alanında faaliyet gösteren 157 meslek kuruluşunun üyesi bulunduğu, 2.5 milyondan fazla meslek mensubunu temsil eden bir uluslararası kuruluş olup, amacı muhasebe ve denetim alanındaki uygulamaların kalitesini yükseltmek suretiyle kamunun çıkarlarını korumaktır IFAC, 2008
