Abstract

Çalışmanın amacı Beard ve Ragheb (1980) tarafından geliştirilen (uzun form) ve 1992 yılında kısa form olarak yeniden düzenlenen Leisure Satisfaction Scale/LSS (Serbest Zaman Doyum Ölçeği/SZDÖ)’in kısa formunun Türkçe dil geçerlik ve güvenirliğinin yapılmasıdır. Çalışmanın ilk bölümündeki örneklemini, İngilizce ve Türkçe konuşma ve yazma becerisine sahip 2 spor bilimci, 1 dil bilimci, ikinci örneklemi ise yine İngilizce konuşma ve yazma becerisine sahip 29 kişi oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmanın üçüncü örneklemini ise, Denizli şehir merkezinde yaşayan yaşları 15-54 arasında değişen 101 kişi oluşturmaktadır. SZDÖ, Psikolojik, Eğitimsel, Sosyal, Fiziksel, Rahatlama ve Estetik olmak üzere altı alt boyuttan oluşmaktadır. Ölçeğin güvenirliği test–tekrar test yöntemi güvenirlik katsayılarına, iç tutarlılık değerlerine dayanılarak yapılmıştır. Ölçeğin geçerliliği için yapı geçerliliğine bakılmıştır. Sonuçlar doğrultusunda, ölçeğin Türkçeye uyarlamasının geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçek olduğu bulunmuştur
