The main objectives of this study was to determine the level of organizational commitment and perceived organizational justice of academic staff who worked in school of physical education and sports and faculty of sports sciences in different universities in Turkey and also to examine the relationship between organizational commitment and perceived organizational justice. Three hundered-twenty academic staff participated in the study, on a voluntary basis (250 male and 70 female). In this study, the organizational commitment questionnaire developed by Allen and Meyer (1991) and run through for validity and reliability in a study by Wasti (2001) was used for data collection. Along with this, an organizational justice questionnaire which was developed by Niehoff ve Moorman (1993) and run through for validity and reliability in a study by Gürbüz and Mert (2009) was also used. In order to analyze the data, both One- Way ANOVA and the Independent t-test were used for determining significant difference between dependent and indepentent variables. Pearson correlation analyze was also used to determine the relationship among dependent variables. The results show that there were significant differences between organizational commitment and perceived organizational justice in terms of age and position rather than gender, marital status and tenure. It also found there to be a relationship between organizational commitment and organizational justice as a result of correlation analyze.
